LOL all I did was take a wander over to the screenrush comps page...everytime I find a code I think 'surely not another?'
but that makes 12 for In Bruges and if it's still 9 for '21' and therefore we now have 21 codes!! :rotfl:

Well elski5, you had the magic numbers for me!

I was thinking I must be the most unlucky person because I couldn't get anything for In Bruges. I don't know what everyone else thinks but I don't think there are many London cinemas showing it - relatively speaking. I'll be the first to say that we are v.lucky in London in the sense that we do usually get a good choice of options when it comes to previews. Think there were only a few codes with Greenwich, Whiteleys and Wimbledon coming to mind.

Surrey Quays Odeon is not coming up much, which is a shame- I like that cinema. I also want them to use the Vue O2 more often - running through North Greenwich station to catch the bus after a meal in the O2 to get to Odeon Greenwich is not a good look  :rotfl:

Beate - how busy was Whiteleys tonight? I agree that cinema is not too great - but they do have bad and not so bad screens - screen 1 needs to be sealed off imo.

It was screen 8 which is slightly bigger than screen 5 where I went to before for Be Kind Rewind and it was really rather full. Most people of course came with very little time to spare! And why do people have to keep their phones switched on and irritate you with the light when they are checking the time or texts?

yeah I 've aways thought that although London get's loads of screenings, such a large population must have a larger demand on the tickets.
the odeon in sheffield that I prefer go to for screenings may not be so nice as the cineworld and Vue (lately we've been put in screen 4 which is all the seats on the flat and you look up at an angle at the screen!) but for me it's a five minute walk from home & work so extremely convenient!

I've got two going for In Bruges at Basingstoke on Tuesday evening.

Not often you see Basingstoke on the list, so I just went for it - totally forgetting I'm working Tuesday night!! Have now got tickets for Monday night, so all is not lost.

So if anyone fancies a night out in Basingstoke Cinema (woo-hoo) drop me a pm and I'll send over the necessary details.

    Thanks

    HK

odeon screen 7 was the shabby theatre downstairs - but it was packed full last night.
The film is a tragi-comic tale of two assassins in Bruges, laced with funny, intelligent humour and doses of violence.
Theatre was packed with MYSPACE people and at the end 'myspace' goody bags were handed out to those completing a feed-back.

I'd give the movie 9/10, especially for the two lead roles.:D

A nice sum-up of the film!

I was desperate for the loo and then we just went so must have missed the action. Saw a few peeps with myspace bags later on the tube, they pulled out a t-shirt with a rude message on it. Oh well, film was good enough and I am not a myspace fan anyway.
