I am interested in getting my pension early. L & G have told me I have to wait until I'm 55 (I am 51) so I googled and contacted a firm which can release it or some of it early.

So, you contacted a scammer.  Hopefully, you haven't given them too much detail about you.   Your details being sold on to other scammers and identify fraud will be the next things to follow.

    Is this a scam?

    yes
