Why Are Most Boxer Shorts So Uncomfortable!!

Help me out here please if you can. So I usually buy quite nice branded underwear which claims to do all of this and all of that but they are so uncomfortable. I can be sitting there doing absolutely nothing and they would ride up and up like they are being eaten. Does anyone know of any good, comfortable fitting boxers? What do people recommend? (apart from going commando)

Next fitted boxers are amazing along with the Original Penguin branded ones too. They are snug fitting & don't ride up.
  • you want the cotton briefs that look like boxers.
tighty whitey/speedo/budgie smuggler types are to tight and uncomfortable - boxers to loose - if find both really uncomfortable for cycling! Those bad boys are just right.

Husband swears by Under Armour . He’s a postie who walks 13+ miles a day with no chaffing! ( hate that word because of the visual it creates in my mind.)

Then I assume you mean chafing...?
Chaffing means teasing or mocking so I don’t know what problem you’d have with that visual 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hubby wears the H&M trunks which come in shorter or longer lengths - snug fitting.
  • I cannot recommend enough Uniqlo's Airism boxer shorts. They're very, very comfy to wear and do not chafe at all! Fairly expensive but they last.
  • There is the stretchy and non-stretchy material, you should buy the stretchy ones.
    Tesco/Asda own brand is fine.

Maybe you need to go a size up as they are too small?

Or perhaps even a size down, I did this recently with ladies underwear and they are so much more comfortable with virtually no movement.
