Cost of care homes in Scotland

I sold my home when we married and only my wife’s name is on the title deeds as she already owned her home. I became the main earner and paid off the mortgage after 5 years of paying the mortgage. If she had to go into care of local authority, would the cost of her care be deducted from any inheritance for our children after my death?
