Hope someone can help.We remortgaged and it completed on 3/12. Today, 5/12, our previous lender took their usual direct debit payment. Are we entitled to a refund? I hope so as we had not budgeted for this and were not warned of it!!Thanks in advance!!

(I don't think this is as straightforward as it seems, actually, as we originally changed our payment date from 1st of month to 5th, so am wondering if this is a payment which would have been due before completion).0

Contact the lenderd and explain you had left them on the 3rd.
They will arrange for a refund asap
Your re-mortgage redemption figure will have included any interest payments up to the 3rd.
