I have done a balance transfer but still owe money on the card.  The first amount was 5p so I just thought I’d not done the correct amount.  Paid it and checked again now it says I still owe £35.63 which again I have paid.  What’s going on, any ideas please

If you did a balance transfer and it was 5p short so the 5p balance was outstanding after the payment for that month was due, then interest would be charged on the whole balance at the statement before the transfer was made, rather than just on the 5p. So the £35.63 is presumably interest, but check your statement as it should be detailed there.1
