Is it possible to have a *live* flu vaccine on NHS?

There are two types of flu vaccines, inactive and live. For some reason I prefer a live one. I called my GP and several pharmacies, they only offer a non-live flu vaccine. Does anyone know where it is possible to get a live one?

All I know is that children have live ones. If you don't mind me asking why do you prefer a live one?

Does anyone know the places where this live vaccine is available on paid basis?sammyjammy said:It sounds like your choices are take the free one the NHS is offering you or pay for a live vaccine.0 -
I would think that unless you go to a private doctor all the normal places would give you the type for your relevant age/qualifying group0
