Hi All,
I don't know if I am in the right place to ask this
but...
last year, nr xmas, I brought a ball of Rowen Pom Hat yarn, multicoloured with a bobble and it included a pattern for a bobble hat. I started making it as a gift for my Daughter but didn't get very far as I just didn't get the time. This year is an even tighter year than last so I am starting to knit it now, some of the ribbing is done and so I placed it neatly on the side but one of our rescue dogs decided he liked the wool so took it for a little play
Thankfully the wool is fine and I have rewound it BUT the ball band with the pattern on is totally destroyed
I am hoping that someone on here may have the pattern or can help me find another suitable pattern (must be easy).
Many thanks for your help

lovelovinghorses. If you say what sort of wool it is, someone might have a ball of it and can extract the pattern for you.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Is it this one? I don't have it, but the picture might help if someone else has the pattern. Alternatively, if you know what weight wool (or what size needles it needs), google should be able to help with a pattern.

Hi Monnagran,
I thought it was chunky but taking a better look I think it is DK and I am using 4mm needles for the ribbing. The ribbing is knit one purl one and I have 132 stitches on the needle. I have done about two inches of rib so far!
Thanks so much x0 -
Sky_ it is
I have found it online and the reviews say it is an awful pattern so maybe my pupster has done me a favour lol!
So now my question is.. Does anyone have an easy booble hat knitting pattern for an adult girlie using 85g of DK wool (with stripes)?

I will happily unpick it if necessary0

Why is it awful? Do the reviews say it's too loose, too tight or another reason?
I've always knitted hats without a pattern, unless I want something fancy like a beret style. I'd just knit the rib to the height you want, then change to stocking stitch--can increase the needle size a little too if you want (unless reviews say the pattern is too loose). At the top, either run yarn through the stitches and pull it tight, or for a neater top, divide the stitches into 6, eight or similar and decrease by knitting 2 together at the end of each number. For example 132/6 = 22, so knit 20 then knit 2 together. Reduce stitches on every 2nd or 4th row (4th gives a more pointy top), by reducing to knit 19, knit 2 together, knit 18, knit 2 together and so on, each time you reduce the stitches. Once you get down to 10 or so stitches, run wool through them, attach the bobble and tie the wool off.
Alternatively, there are loads of free hat patterns online, so you should be able to find a good one.
Gorgeous wool by the way, I'm sure your hat will be fab!2022. 2% MF challenge. £730/30002 -
Thank-you Sky_
The reveiws say it comes up way too big
They did several colours and I chose a bright one a bit like the one above but without red but purple instead
