Mortgage application- ill health

Hi All, Hope you and yours are keeping well. 

Apologies, have asked this is another thread. Cut a long story short, past 10 years I’ve not been keeping too well  was accepted DIP with Vida and house purchase offer has went through subject to Mortgage application. However I have taken ill, though I have tried to battle through its became impossible. Does Vida ask for any employment letters etc, worried if I go off on the sick would cause issues. My broker said. It should be on existing wage slips. I had major surgery last year & it has reared its ugly head. Unsure what I should do

Get full pay whilst off sick

How long do you get full pay for?
How long will you potentially be off work for?
Is it sole or joint application?

Get full pay for a year I believe. Not sure yet, this hasn’t came at an ideal time.
