Clydesdale Bank - Processing Time for Mortgage Applications?

So I'm surrently in the process of trying to move house which so far has been a long and painful process "because coronavirus".  It looks like we're getting there except for further back in the chain where our buyer's buyer has waiting on a mortgage decision from Clydesdale for a few weeks.  I understand Clydesdale are pretty slow at the best of times but how slow are they at the moment?  Should we be getting worried?

    My sister had an application in with them that went in before Covid i.e. March time. Hers was a buy to let application. It only got refused two weeks ago. They dragged it out waiting for valuation etc and then heard nothing for weeks on end!

    Our application went in on 27 August and we are still waiting. Took them weeks to review our case then they requested additional documentation which we submitted straight away via mortgage broker. They have yet to review. Our mortgage broker has chased several times and apparently someone will review our case again on Monday. So lets see!
