Late payment Argos card

Hi all,
after viewing my credit score, I can see 4 late consecutive payments from October 2019- January 2020. These are all from an Argos card which I was believed to be clear. I rang and cleared the balance (well thought I did) however there was 20p left on the account. I did not get charged any late payment fees and there was no minimum payment due. I was also told on the phone when paying the 20p that there would be no late payment marked. Although, I now can’t get in touch with Argos as I’ve since closed the account.

Hey poppyegg, sourcrates is right, nothing you can do, unfortunately. Shift your focus to rebuilding your credit score. There's a number of things you can do. A quick google will give you a list of actions0

Shouldn't do but with any purchase, shop around. They need you as much as you need them. Same goes for the property.poppyegg22 said:Thanks for the advice guys.Me and my other half looking to get a mortgage around January 2021 is this likely to have a high impact on that? - When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
