Incorrect purchase price on offer.

Hi everyone,
Finally got my offer in last week after an extremely long 7 weeks, called my solicitor and she looked them over and noticed that the purchase price is incorrect.
They've put the valuation price as opposed to the actual purchase price (1k more).
My solicitor says that as the actual loan amount is correct, this should be a simple fix.
Does anyone have any experience of this and how long it might take to get corrected? I just really want everything finished now!

We had the same issue. The mortgage company (bank of Ireland) sent an amendment letter out to us and our solicitor with the correct purchase price, although it still took a couple of weeks!1
