Has anyone had any dealings with Elderbridge Financial, took over from First Plus. I am in debt management plan £37000 left to pay want to pay it off and Elderbridge want £60000 on top in historical interest. Just when finally I was debt free,, this happens such a low point in my life now .

Yes I have not paid them for 2 years now and they have not chased me, I have info that they do not want in court so they will not start repossession proceedings with me.  Do yourself a favour now and make your complaint to them about the the variable interest rates. Their old cached website from 2006 shows they advertised that the loan interest would go up or down in accordance with the BOE and then they just increased and increased them - They will deny it but then complain to the FOS - they have settled 150 accounts so far with 60 more outstanding with the FOS.
