70th birthday through the post

It's my mum's 70th in a few weeks, and I'm struggling for ideas on what to do for it!
Not only has everything I was planning (a weekend away, the ballet) been cancelled but I live in a different city, and thanks to lockdown restrictions I won't be able to see her for it - I also don't drive and work in quite a high risk job and just wouldn't feel comfortable putting both her and my dad at risk by travelling to see them. Both of them are in the somewhat vulnerable category and quite anxious about going out for meals or trips etc, and I'm worried that she'll end up having a rubbish day spent like any other (my dad is not the best of planners either and is likely to leave it to her to decide on something).
This more or less leaves me with ordering things to be delivered to her to ensure she has as special a day as possible, but I'm really struggling for ideas! So far I've got the usual flowers, and seeing if I can order a birthday cake or hamper to be delivered on the day but would appreciate any suggestions for anything which could be posted or maybe done remotely!

Have you considered an Afternoon Tea being delivered?
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.

That could be a really nice idea! Could you recommend anywhere - if you've done it before?

Glad you like the idea. I used a local ‘chocolate’ restaurant near me who diversified during lockdown and did doorstep boxes of afternoon tea. Have you checked locally?

I'm not sure there's anywhere that sounds quite as interesting, but I'm sure there'll be something - also found out that Betty's tea rooms does delivery which will be my back up choice I think!
