Padded Envelopes

Where can I buy padded envelopes (jiffy bag type of thing) cheaply? I needed a couple today and they were 1.49ea in my local PO. I don't mind buying in reasonably large quantities as long as they are CHEAP!

I get mine from the Pound shop that is near me. I get 5 for a pound - however they are not huge. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I'm after ones that are big enough to send a book in. Probably about A4 size.0

Hello mjk
It's just a thought........why not buy some A4 manilla envelopes and bubble wrap sheet (if you don't already have some in the home).
Cut a piece of bubble wrap to A3 size, fold it (don't cut it) and slot inside the A4 envelope. Then slot your letter/documents inside the bubble wrap sleeve.
This option will work for whatever size manilla envelopes you choose so could be useful for the future too?
Hope this helps.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -
My local poundland has the following:
10 X bubble lined envelopes size 140mmx195 mm
8 X size 170mmx245mm
5 X 230mm x 320mm
A paperback book will fit in the middle size envelope and the bigger size envelope easily takes a large hardback book with room to spare.
