Best stain remover

In the past I've used elbow grease in stains but just recently on some white t shirts amongst others I've been left with grey spots in place of the stains.
I ve now resorted to elbow grease, fairly liquid and washing gel neat on the stains and rubbed in with a toothbrush and left for 5 minutes and repeated then put in the washing machine.
A few of these t shirts are only a few months old.
Can you lovely people recommend a stain remover and something to whiten some other white t shirts?
Thanks

This is fantastic, whitens and gets rid of stains. I rub it into stains and then use in the wash aswell

Depends on what has caused the stain. I use this and it removes most stains.

This works well: https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/299537322Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1

I use Ace on any stains (originally was known as a fabric bleach but recently changed to describe it as a stain remover). On a bad stain you might have to give it a couple of goes but I've yet to have a stain that it couldn't cope with. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
