I have a pain in my leg so the doctor gave me naproxen and co-codamol but they haven't worked so I phoned the doctor and I had the option of seeing a doctor or have a stronger painkiller so I choose the painkiller so I was gaven the option of tramadol or ibuprofen so I choose tramdol and the doctor said I can also take paracetamol but what's the point if tramadol is a strong tablet.

Whether you want to or not depends on your pain levels.
Paracetamol and Ibuprofen work in very different ways so most people can safely take maximum daily dose of both if need be. However seek medical advice!
Assuming Tramadol works in a similar way to Ibuprofen then the same is probably true for most people.
However, seek medical advice!
Don't take advice about medicines from random strangest on the internet, they may be wrong or there may be reasons why you are one of the exceptions to the norm.
As a general comment, and not referring to your medication which I know nothing about, there are some pain medications which for most people are safe to use together on GP advice. The reason for taking both is that they can be staggered throughout the day - taking 1 at 8am and 1 at 10am for example, which maintains the level of pain relief if one is starting to wear off and the person is due the next dose.
Basically... Listen to your GP!
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -
