half price sky plus £40 vouchers

Hi all, I hope this is in the right section
I have just got a flyer from SKY tv (just to note, I cancelled sky a few months ago, even though they tried to offer it to me at half price at the time I still said no, so although I still have the dish and digi box I pay them nothing)
with this flyer they will give me as a former sky user half price rental PLUS £40 JJB store vouchers.
Cool, I have gone for the sky sports with sky famliy package at £33 reduced to £16.50. So taking into account the gift vouchers it will cost me £9.50 for 3 Months sky, after 3 Months I will cancel again and see what happens.
To apply for this you need to phone 08702 430 785 (9p per/min through 18866 and they won't phone you back I asked) and quote ROAR 1
You can choose a range of packages from SKY family, SKY sports, SKY movies and SKY world(£41/2=£20.50 for 3 Months)
If this helps one of our moneysaving family I will be very happy
all the best
steve b
ps. offer ends 28/06/05

I think you'll find that the contract will be for 12 months

I have had this offer through today, no mention of a 12 month contract.

The best bit for me is they say that if you have problems with your existing Sky box they will do a free repair / re-installation, excellent considering mine has just started to play up - all the programme channels say there is a technical fault please try later, althought i get the listings so reckon i am receiving a signal ok.
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

    That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?

I think if you take the Receiver from Sky in this kind of offer then they bind you for 12 months.

    there is no contract

Well there must be; they are taking your maoney aren't they?? Do you mean minimum term?
I had something similar with BT. I went to leave broadband (on 512KB). They offered me upgrade to 1MB for the same price with no minimum contract (so they said). Turns out there is a minimum of 3 months. Cancelled at the end as a point of principle cos they lied..................
