Bankruptcy and gift from parents

For goodness sake don't do this! You would be hiding income from the Official Receiver and there are serious consequences to this.Anamox said:Can't you set up something like a Revolut card and ask your parents to pay the £100 onto that each month? Then it is sort of like a cash transfer in terms of traceability but they don't need to physically give you any cash.
You can then withdraw the £100 in cash from an ATM using the Revolut card or spend it on things like groceries etc.0 -
Could your parents pay the money to your partner?
Or are you both needing insolvency help?0 -
I wouldn't hide anything at all. There is no reason for it not to be paid to me as I have no intention of hiding it. I will fully disclose it to the official receiver. My worry was just them contacting them to confirm what it is for as they are quite sick so I don't want them worrying about my mess.0
