Am sick of Natwest!!!!

Am so fed up with the service from Natwest & the continuing spirral of charges that I am in the process of changing my accounts to Lloyds.
I forgot until Last Friday that I had some standing orders including one from my main natwest account to my business natwest account, I cancelled these but was conscoius that it was probably to late, anyway last night I went online and it was showing that these standing orders had been made & the money had gone into my business account, so I transferred this money back from the business account. Anyway I have just been back online and it is now showing that the payment was not made to my business account and instead I was charged £76 but now my business account is showing as over its overdraft as I transferred money out that was never there!!!! no doubt I will be charged for that too.
To make matters worse I just try to phone to have a go but apparantly I have to speak to my business manager

sorry just needed to vent some anger :p

  • I had the same problem with Natwest regarding charges, a lot of the charges weren't my fault but they charged them anyway, so within the last month I changed accounts to A&L and I'm much happier.

    Hugs for you xx

LloydsTSB are even worse than Natwest. I strongly advise a re-think on which bank you're switching to.

LlloydsTSB made my life hell for a while. I would NEVER bank with them again

Have had the same problems. Just been charged £190 in charges in one month, mainly because one company took an annual payment (which I cancelled) and put me over and the other d/d's bounced.

I have emailed them to ask for a refund under a hardship claim as this was our food money! Don't want to hold my breath.

Sorry to be the bearer of potentially bad news, but I doubt they will relent... I had to go & plead with my Natwest manager to allow a temporary overdraft the day after my mum died, as I had no income above SSP, and still had bills to pay (including their loan)...needless to say, he "couldn't do anything".
  • They can't give out o/d because the computer system won't let them stupid new rules but they can refund charges.

  • I agree.......whatever you do DO NOT GO TO LLoyds...they are lousy! A&L or Citibank, whom I have found to be very good.

    Lloyds....NO CHANCE!
