Remortgage Dates

Hi - can anyone advise in relation to switching dates for remortgaging. My current deal ends on 31/10/2020 (with YBS) and early repayment charges are applicable if I switch to a different mortgage supplier before this date. My question is, what date should I set to switch the mortgage over? Can it be done on the 31/10/2020 or should it be the 01/11/2020?
Thanks in advance - it seems a simple question but I cannot find the answer anywhere!

It will not make alot of difference.
You might pay the SVR or whatever your current deal reverts too at the end of the fix for a day or two.
Have you checked ?
Have you found and signed up to a new deal ?
Rates seem to be going up at the moment 😞0 -
thanks - I’ll probably need to check with YBS then, just saw that apparently some lenders charge you interest till the end of the month even if you pay it off on the 1st, hence wanting to time it correctly! Yeah in the process of switching to lloyds0
