    I think the question asked is the issue.  "Does any type of pension allow you to take 25% out whilst still leaving the pension active?"
    I was looking at it from the DB vs DC level as that is what the thread subject is about (the OP has a DB pension and was asking about drawdown).   Whereas you are Mordko are looking at it from the provider level.  So, we are all correct.
