Astral moisturiser

I used to use Astral moisturiser when I was a teenager, and I remember liking it then - however, I forgot all about it till I spotted it whilst out shopping a coupe of weeks ago. It was only 99p for a small tub, and I was running short on face cream, so I decided to try it again.
Well, so far I am pretty impressed - it does what it is supposed to, it moisturises really well and isnt too strong smelling (and the smell is pleasant) a little goes a long way ...and compared to most misturisers it is an absolute bargain.
Does anyone else use it? I wasnt even sure it still existed!!!

If it's good enough for Joanna Lumley, I'm sure it's good enough for most of us! It must have been a tiny pot you bought for 99p though - when I've seen it around, from memory it seems quite a bit dearer than that.
I use Simple, as I have sensitive skin, or occasionally Olay.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

just found this too.. cant be too bad!
Users, including Patsy Kensit, Kate Beckinsale, Sara Cox and Joanna Lumley, swear by Astral to provide them with softer skin.
Graham Findley, Astral's skincare expert, said: "Because Astral contains more oil than water it covers the skin with an impermeable film that prevents water evaporating - therefore your skin stays hydrated, is less prone to wrinkles caused by dehydration and is generally silkier, smoother and more supple."0 -
I've used Astral in the past, but always found it to be slightly greasy. Now that I'm a bit older and my skin is becoming drier, I think I'll give it another try. Another good cheap moisturiser is Aqueous (sp??) cream the stuff you use for excema, you can buy a huge tub for a couple of quid, and if ever I run out of face moisturiser or body lotion, I just use this, I sometimes wonder why I bother with the more expensive stuff. A woman I work with, shes well into her 60's and has used the aqueous cream as a face/body wash and moisturiser most of her life, and she has hardly any wrinkles, he skin is lovely and soft, just goes to show, it aint worth spending a fortune on expensive creams.

It is a small pot yes, 50ml, but that will last a couple of months for me, as I only use it on my face. They had bigger pots too, but I figured probably best to buy a little pot, then it doesnt have chance to go off at all before you use it all! I got it from Wilkos!0
