Tax rebate from HMRC

Hi, Has anyone else had problems receiving payment from HMRC.
I have now been waiting since 13th July for my tax rebate, my accountant Confirmed the rebate but HMRC have still not transfer to my account.
My accountant can’t get though to HMRC phone line always busy !

check your tax return online and ensure the details for tax rebates are correct. Could the accountant have entered theirs??

Accountants use a different number to get through to HMRC. I have never had any problems in this regard.

no issues here, got mine within days.

as purdy says, there is a separate phone line for agents so frankly unlikely the accountant "can't" get through.

However, more likely the accountant can't be bothered to remain on hold as that can take time for them to answer. - longest I had was > 30 minutes once. It is why the sound of HMRC queue muzak is a permanent feature of accountant's offices, as you leave the call on speaker and pick up only when actually answered 

as to why not paid yet, the usual is "held for further checking"
look at your .Gov online tax account, it will show on there what the status is
