Proof of Deposit Source

Good Morning all,

I'm nearing exchange and as expected, my Conveyancer is requesting source of funds (last 6 months bank statements).
Deposit amount is £11.5K. I have c. £25K in savings.
There are 2 items on my bank statements which which together amount to c. £6K (None of which are 'gifted' towards a deposit) which I have flagged to the Conveyancer.
     1) I lent my ex some money - she repaid once we broke up. (£2K)
     2) I was working for a French company from Sept last year to March this year and was paid into a French HSBC account. Once I finished at this company and starting to                  account closure process I moved the remaining funds into my UK HSBC account (£4K). This shows on the first of my 6 bank statements. I cannot access my French HSBC          account to prove where these funds came from (But I do have my French payslips) as it is now closed and I need to physically go into a branch to get these (not quite                 possible as the moment as I live in the UK and cant travel for obvious reasons!)

My question is that because the deposit requirement is significantly lower than my total savings (even without the two transactions above), will I be okay with the source of funds despite the two above points? My bank statements show monthly payments from my employer and the monthly moving of £200 into HTB ISA and around £400 into another ISA.

Many Thanks,

Dan

Just give what you have to your solicitor and await any questions, we'd all be guessing about what their response will be. In theory it ought not to matter if you have enough verifiable money there for the deposit.
