Paying off HTB loan

Hi all, I'm just wondering if somebody can give me a rough idea of how long the process takes to have a house surveyed and arranged to pay off with the government?

I'm nearing the end of a 5 year fixed mortgage and will be paying the HTB loan off before I renew and before I pay any interest on the loan.

I'll be speaking to my mortgage broker approx 2 months before I'm due to renew.
Should I get the ball rolling to clear the HTB 2 months prior to that or will that be cutting it to fine?

I would set the process in motion 4/5 months before the end of the 5 years.
You can apply for a new deal and get all the paperwork, finances sorted
