Insurance - Covid

We were due to get married in June 2021 however our wedding has now been cancelled as the company had to surrender the lease due to repercussions of the ongoing pandemic. My question is, are we able to claim anything from our insurance? We took out John Lewis insurance before Covid began and will that insurance still be valid for our next wedding?
