Using my parent's address (family home) for my mortgage application

Hi!
All my bank accounts, payslips, driving license, passport, electoral roll is associated with my parent's address. It's where I have lived all my life. A couple months ago, I started renting in London (just for space reasons) for a. 6 month contract, but still regularly go back to my family house. I've now started applying for a mortgage, and all my documentation is associated with my family house. Is it ok to use my parent's address for application purposes? I don't really want to change all my paperwork now, can I just explain this to the mortgage provider?

It’s up to you, but generally speaking it’s best to ensure that all your bank accounts, utility bills, electoral roll are to the same address. I believe having mismatches here may raise potential red flags for mortgage lenders and hence offer you less, but it’s hard to prove 100% either way.

Same here. I had lived at multiple addresses (even overseas for 4 years) between moving out from my parents' place and buying my first home.Beeboo23 said:I have everything registered at my mum’s and used those details for my mortgage application without issue.
I used my parents' address with no issues.0
