Mortgage after DAS - adverse broker

I wonder if anyone could shed any light on how easy/difficult it is to get a mortgage after being in a DAS? I have recently completed my DAS and will be a first time buyer, whenever I manage to buy a house. My DAS & defaults will disappear from my credit file in 2023 but I will need to buy before then, how large a deposit is likely to be required? Feeling very disheartened

Is a DAS the same as a dmp?0

I think so, it’s a Scottish version of a DMP (not 100% on that). No interest is charged on any debts within the DAS and creditors cannot threaten you with any legal action, it is done using a money advisor. I used stepchange - from what I can gather it is treated the same as a dmp?haras_n0sirrah said:Is a DAS the same as a dmp?0 -
