Contractors who have used Clydesdale Bank in the last few months for a mortgage application?

The mortgage rates are quite attractive compared to the rest of the market. An 85% LTV are offering a one percent difference in my favour, which works out to quite a bit.
Im a first time buyer and wondering what evidence they need from me as im a contractor. I have been in the contractor role for 10 months. 7 of those months i was using an umbrella company and the rest i moved so i manage all of my taxes. I srtaed this role in December 2019 and was made redundant therefore I was out of work for a few months. All my previous positions I was a full time PAYE. Would my current and past circumstances how effect the mortgage decision in a negative way? Would they request 1 year worth of pay slips even though I've been working 10 months etc
My day rate is 400 pounds per day and will be with the company for at least another 12 months even though I have a 3 month rolling contract. I can afford the house but im aware that having a contractor creates some difficulties but are they enough to prevent me from getting a house.
