I am looking for some advice,
10 months ago we were to buy a property from an independent builder. We thought the builder was very nice at first and as 'a gesture' allowed us to move into the property. A few months of going through the sale we was updated by our solicitor that there was no DoE or land registry on the property with living in the home already we persevered and continued with the sale whilst the DoE and Land Regestry was being completed in the background. Today we have received an email from the builder saying that he is pulling out of the sale with no reason. what are our rights? as mentioned we are living in the property and have made a home here.

I don't know what a "DoE" is or what you mean by "no land registry on the property". Do you mean the builder doesn't own it?Was the "gesture" documented in any way? What rights would you like? You don't have the right to buy the property. Evictions of "normal" tenants are happening very slowly at the moment, so I doubt you should be worried about being kicked out particularly quickly, if that's what you're worried about. Bit messy to have moved in though.0
