  • The stuff comes from China so it takes ages to get here. The quality can be not great but it depends what you're buying really. My partner buys a lot from there.
  • I buy a lot from WISH but always tell myself not to expect the stuff to turn up...though so far it has! I agree with the above poster. Be prepared for a long wait. Also, I only buy products with lots of user reviews on them, especially when they include photographs.

It's a legit company, but their products are cack.
Fake, cheaply made and delivery is from China so takes a few weeks to arrive.
Go onto Google and search for "Bought from wish", there's hundreds of videos of people buying their stuff and testing them.
If something looks too good to be true ... it probably is.
  • I suggest you look at the Trustpilot.com report for wish.com. Most of the 5-star reviews are one-liners, of few words, very general, and "Invited" (Meaning they were apparently solicited by wish.com.) I suspect they were written by wish, not by genuine customers. Odd how so many of them "love" wish!  Look at the more detailed reviews - they are generally very negative.
Also look at Trustpilot reviews for wish.co.uk.  The reviewers on this thread have clearly put the wrong company - wish.co.uk instead of wish.com, because wish.co.uk are about "experiences", whereas all the reviews here relate to goods from China.
wish.com are clearly unaware of the wish.co.uk thread on Trustpilot, because the reviews are all detailed, rather than one-liners, and they are 89% Bad. Does any other company have a 89% Bad review score?

Wish's business model seems to be to attract as many new punters as possible, while providing shoddy goods and NO customer support (Just computer-generated replies to complaints that do not answer the questions raised, until the complainant gives up.)
The guy who owns wish is apparently a billionaire. He seems to have found a way to make lots of money by exploiting peoples' wish for "a bargain".  Avoid wish.com like the coronavirus!

They stung me for £10 on my credit card for something I never ordered. After 15 emails trying to get the £10 back, I gave up. The SD Card I did order tests out OK, but, being too-good-to-be-true, it is a fake. My tester shows who it was really made by, not the company claimed on its label.

I've bought small things like cycling gloves, electric milk frother, electric nasal trimmer (to name a few) and all are grand and working well. Most were a couple of quid or free (just paying p&p). I'd probably avoid it for buying camera, phone etc. A mate bought a DashCam a while back and it works perfectly.

Mr GB buys a lot of carp stuff from Wish, attracted by the low prices.
Look at the P&P before purchasing as this can change the overall price considerably.
Sometimes the stuff takes for ages to be delivered, but the only times he's given up and claimed a refund it's been swift and painless.
Generally he buys low value stuff, such as face masks, jewellery (Fashion rather than high end.) but the times he's bought more expensive stuff he's been surprised. For example, the reversing camera for the camper and helmet intercoms for the bike worked well and have lasted.  He did order a forehead scanning thermometer that never arrived, so he was refunded, but with hindsight they may have sent a different digital thermometer by mistake, (The one that looks like a pregnancy test.)
Don't let children search as I do find searching rather bizarre. You'll find some bicycle lights next to a mankini, adult toys or a butt plug!
Bit like Primark, it's worth passing over some poor quality tat in order to find a few gems IMHO.
Worse things will have happened in the world today...

as long you don't spend loads you'll be okay. Stuff takes ages to turn up but I've never had any issues with the stuff that comes. On the occasion something hasn't come its been really easy to get a refund
