FTB Mortgage - credit report

Hi All,

I’m in the process of getting my first mortgage. I’ve used a broker and they submitted to Nationwide yesterday. I then received a message from my broker stating that Nationwide have requested my credit report. (My broker ordered this so I should receive in the post) 

I was wondering if this was standard for them to request this? I assumed they were able to see all my information when they did their credit check. 

I’m not sure if I’m worrying over nothing or overthinking, but I’m starting to question previous loans I’ve had and credit cards and whether that will affect me now? I’m debt free now and have always made payments etc on time when I previously had a loan and credit card balances.

Would appreciate any thoughts/any similar experience anyone has had?

Im FTB too so no expert but i’ve never heard of this? They have access to it all online?

unless your broker is requesting it for their use? But im guessing that would have happened prior to the application...
