Insurance Claim help

My Quartz kitchen worktop cracked from the sink all the way over to the edge (75cm long crack)
The insurance company say it’s not covered because it’s not accidental damage.
Should I accept this?
To replace the top is £7500!
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Ask on the insurance board, this section is for more generic local things.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Did you tell them that you dropped a massive pan on it?
£7.5k to replace a worktop is ludicrous. You'd get a whole kitchen for that. I suggest that you get a few more competitive quotes.0
