Santander - mortgage offer extension

Hi
Our mortgage product drawdown deadline is 30th October which is the date on our offer - our new build property is due to be ready for completion in November so we need to extend our current offer. Our broker has contacted Santander and chosen a new product and sent off my most recent payslip - does anyone know how long i should expect to wait until a new offer is issued?
