Huggies Nappies at Boots 50% off!!!

Boots are doing double points at the moment. They are also doing an offer on Huggies nappies. If you buy two pack for £16 (8.96 each) you get an additional 200 points. You also get 1000 points if you spend £100 in the baby dept. There is also a 1000 code around on the codes board.
I just bought 14 packs of nappies (different sizes) for £112 pounds and I got £56.96 in points. So I got 50% off.
5696 points made up of following:
1000 code
1000 £100 in baby offer
2800 Huggies 200 points offer
896 double points promotion
Even without the 1000 point code you will be saving 40%!
I know it's a lot to spend on nappies but the little ones do get through them.
Also, I don't know if the huggies and double points offer isvailable in store? if they are you could probably get an even better deal because they are still giving 500 points for a £25 spend (I'm happy with the 50% off and free delivery).
Hope it helps the other parents out there!

Instore it's 3 for 2, plus you get the 500 points for a spend over £25(as it's see's 3 x £8.96 even though one is then discounted). Not sure how many other points you get for the actual £17.92 purchase but it was about 550 points, so £12.50 say for 3 packs.0

We used Kooshies (or Kushies) washables for a few months and they worked very well, and we just about recovered the cost of them, we reckon. AND if littlun number 2 ever shows up, they're ready, waiting and already paid for, so they're effectively fee nappies for a few months (bar the cost of washing them). :j
When littlun number 1 went to nursery they insisted on disposables though, so it became uneconomical to splash out on the next size up in washables as they wouldn't get enough use to pay for themselves. We've been using biodegradeable nappies until recently when we've moved to pull-ups and potty training!
I might wander down to Boots and see what they've got.0 -
Problem is you have to wash all these cloth nappies, so unless your running on solar or wind power your contributing to golbal warming, and so it goes on!if i had known then what i know now0

I think the environmental lobby (incidently a most worthwhile cause IMO) could attract a lot more support were its protagonists not so po-faced at times.

thing it was on the news only the other day.
Something about reusable nappies and disposable ones
but when you weigh up the electricity and water not used by buying disposable ones
catch 22 really , do you landfill, or use natural resouces.Either way, its not what the boards about. Its about "grab it quicks"0 -
been doing some sums.
if you go instore and buy 4 packs for £32.00
i have many 10% off vouchers that i have recieved in my previous online orders.
So that would make them 28.80
800 points bonus
500 points for spending over £25 on baby
128 single points
that makes it a total of 1428 points ( £14.28)
28.80 - 14.28 = £14.52 divide that by 4 = £3.63 per pack.
without the 10% discount comes out at £4.43 per pack0 -
By the way for the 500 points instore it calculates it before discounts
