Blackcats said:hi supersaving - there are times when it seems like it's one expense after another. You can be pleased that you had the emergency fund though - you haven't added to a credit card or overdraft which is a great achievement. Next week will be better 🤞
Your right. I need to stay positive that not added to debts. Just need to work out how much EF I have left and build it back up.
Thank you1 -
Best day of the month pay day.
Moved an additional £125 to go off the loan, so now at £14,623.26 = 5% cleared. Dd goes out on the 25th Oct also. Paying for Xmas / bday gifts is slowing down payments but going to keep chipping away.
Done a few surveys but not at cashing out stage.Allowed a little extra on this months food budget, so I can buy turkey and some Xmas foods. Tackling buying my daughters presents this month.
At least lockdown curbs the spends as not visiting the shops as often. My hubby’s heard of a potential job offer next year, that would incase our incomings by £500 per month, so really hoping it comes off as that would be a massive help.
Still no sign of the holiday refund, they said it could take up to 10 days but using this to top the EF back up to £1k, plan next year is to increase to £2k.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!1 -

Do you have a diary I can follow?1 -
I am working in a similar way to you. £225 overpayment is a one month reduction 🙂0

No l'm not but l am aware of it. As it happens, one monthly payment isn't far off 2%. l have only just started, cleared a cc since lockdown. Making an overpayment of £225 every month seems manageable at the moment 🙂 l've been selling on Ebay, Vinted, Zaffit...won't be anything left to sell soon!0

Happy Halloween 👻October 20 - £1541 cleared.6/60 payments cleared. Helped along with holiday cancellation.Things still to tackle, claim working from home tax and possibly change bank accounts as currently pay £25pm.Next couple of months will be lower payments towards the debt to funding Xmas but hoping for larger payments come January.
Have a a fair few items I can clear out via Online sales if I can motivate myself to list them.2 -
Happy All Hallows.
I'm having a break from listing this weekend. The last few weeks l have had upwards of 15 parcels to package, l think l need a rest. Judging by the look on the face of the woman at the post office when she sees me coming, she does too..!
I need to sort out the wfm tax this week too.
