Statement

If you have a fixed term loan but have never received a statement is that legal, can we claim interest etc? We've always made payments on time but only ever received one statement that we requested.

Let's assume just for a moment that this is a bank loan the OP is talking about.
If they have registered for internet banking then they have access to a 'statement' and probably a digital copy of the original statement is in their in box.
The bank records may well show that a statement has been sent - just not received.
Before the OP gets over excited about a possible rebate of interest consider what I have said.
