Refinancing car and mortgage

We have just had our mortgage approved! Hooray! My car is due in November/December and I was going to refinance the £3k remaining so it will be around the same as what I pay now (£160 per month) over two years. Can you do this before completion? We are hoping to move in December, house is water tight but needs all the inside doing.

You can but do you need too right now.
Why not wait till you have moved into the new property.
If you have lots of equity and good income to amount you want to borrow it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for your help! I’ve had a think and I have spoken to my parents who are going to give me the £3k if they have some inheritance by then or give me one of their cars temporary whilst we move in and settle down. I’d rather have my house than my car!0
