I bought an Avax 50D Pulse Oximeter from Amazon two and half years ago and it still works fine and seems to give reasonable readings.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
  • Mine was secondhand from eBay, so nice and cheap. I think it depends on whether you really need the SpO2 readings to be accurate or if you just need it for your heart rate.

I need the oxygen readings, already have BP and heart rate monitor

Go to amazon find one they are all pretty muc hthe same in accuracy. I like one with a nice graph and logging options (they don't cost more).

But do remember that finger (nail?) Sp02 reading are not reliable even with certified equipment (and also realase the uncertified are no worse, just not certified as it is expensive). Though in genral use if it looks weird, pluck it off and try a different finger. Or maybe wash your hands (anything on your nails is not good either).

(only definitive oxygen test is form the hard to get side of your blood).
