Following from my question in a different thread, do all lenders do a new credit check before completion?
What if something negative from. The past is added to your credit report? Say a default or ccj from a year or two ago but wasn't there on application?

It's a case that's with bluestone as they are the only lender who will acceptmortgagetakingages said:

It's possible to have an account monitored for certain changes rather than laboriously and expensively recheck every application. Though random internal audit checks will by default revisit the application afresh.
CCJ's will be picked up from the Trust Registry website during the underwriting process.
