Anyone else used Buildstore and told their affordability is low? According to both our salaries using a mortgage calculator we should be able to lend £340k where as Buildstore have come having approached a lender and told us based on ONS data the maximum we can lend is £212k.
We need to borrow 320k to buy the land and complete the build any advice how we can overcome this disaster!?

You'd be better off asking in the mortgages board.
PS You're looking to borrow the money, not lend it, unless you're loaded.0
