  • @haras_n0sirrah Hey! Can you see an over draft of £3900 being an issue with Kent Reliance? Never been over it .. thanks for your advice xxx
  • Hi, me and my partner have just been accepted on a shared ownership and our mortgage broker is applying for our mortgage with virgin this week as we had a MIP from them before being accepted from the house. My partner has just got a new job, she starts in 3 weeks, do you think we will lose the house because of this? Thanks

Virgin are the wrong choice here. They require 2 months in new job and out of probationary period

Are there people who will accept and quickly as we run the risk of the housing association taking the house from us? Will our mortgage broker struggle to find someone this week?

Is there a probationary period? It it came to it could you get to 15%?
I will need to check the criteria guides
  • Yes we probably could but it would be a stretch. It’s 6 months unfortunately, she starts in 3 weeks. Our mortgage broker has all the info he needs from her current job like 3 months payslips

  • Unless your broker is going off the current job rather than the new job then she will need a minimum of 2 months in her new job before virgin will consider. If your partner has 2 years track record in the same industry they can ignore the probationary period.
