Hi, me and my partner have just been accepted on a shared ownership and our mortgage broker is applying for our mortgage with virgin this week as we had a MIP from them before being accepted from the house. My partner has just got a new job, she starts in 3 weeks, do you think we will lose the house because of this? Thanks0

I will need to check the criteria guides0 -
Yes we probably could but it would be a stretch. It’s 6 months unfortunately, she starts in 3 weeks. Our mortgage broker has all the info he needs from her current job like 3 months payslips0

Unless your broker is going off the current job rather than the new job then she will need a minimum of 2 months in her new job before virgin will consider. If your partner has 2 years track record in the same industry they can ignore the probationary period.0
