So my mortgage has completed today with bank of ireland and we've got the keys, but throughout the whole process I can't see any hard credit search on any of the three credit agencies? Not complaining or anything but just wondered if this was strange or not

It is strange. Might be an oversight on their side. Assuming they did a quotation search so they have seen your file?1

This is interesting, we are also going with BOI, however we don't complete until 25th September there is also no record as yet of them doing a search on either of our files, we applied in July and received the offer approx 11th August so been a while now!Virtual sealed pot 2019 member #6 :j

I applied with Santander for a buy to let and all I had was a soft affordability search on application.1

Yes, they definitely seen the credit file in some capacity as they had a question about the electoral role and address for my partner. Had an initial search via experian at decision in principle stage, followed by an anti money laundering check a few weeks later following full application but no hard searches recorded. How rapidly did your mortgage go through? I believe what the credit agencies show consumers is behind the times and only updated once a month so could it have just not shown up yet.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

AIP on 23rd June (with 'unregistered enquiry' entry on experian from BOItheoretica said:How rapidly did your mortgage go through? I believe what the credit agencies show consumers is behind the times and only updated once a month so could it have just not shown up yet.
Full Application on 10th July ( with 'identification - generic check' on experian from BOI)
'Anti Money Laundering' entry on Credit Karma from BOI on 22nd July and one five days later from our solicitors
Application assessed on 7th August, had to answer a couple of questions from underwriters re address history/electoral roll and partners title (as the council tax bill we'd sent in had her down as 'Mrs' for some reason)
Offer on 8th August
Completed on Tuesday
all entries on the credit file down as soft searches0
