AJ Bell, however I had to pay the fees out of my own pocket and not from the pension - AJ Bell is their preferred supplierZingPowZing said:spg1 and Deleted_User: Assuming you followed Pensionhelp's recommendations; would you mind saying where your pensions are now?
I am transferred straight out of AJ Bell into HL (that portfolio is all ITs)0 -

Splitting my two SIPPs (the other is with ii and mostly funds), the HL is in ITs so the cost is quite lowTBC15 said:

Reason for doing so - am just about to go into drawdown so I am trusting HLs customer service to come to the fore and be prompt in setting up the drawdown compared to ii
Then once everything is settled down I may transfer HL to ii or keep it there, not sure yet.1 -
People are regularly introducing themselves to the forum with tales of woe in finding an adviser to facilitate a DB transfer. On the evidence above, Pensionhelp look to be a very fair option.
By my initial calculation (£3000 to go through the motions v £4140 for taking on a potential claim liability for a lifetime) I reckoned Pensionhelp were very likely to reach a negative recommendation whatever the OPs multiple; but the positive reports from customers above and the fact that its preferred supplier is AJ Bell who, alone to my knowledge, accept DB pension transfers without a signature from the adviser on their own transfer-in form, make me think Pensionhelp could be a choice that one could recommend. I hope I'm not missing anything obvious.

Thanks - appreciate the view. This was my concern but not sure how much of an issue it would be. Apart from AJ Bell which I also use do you know @ZingPowZing who else does this?0

AFAIK no one.
Which is not to say all other pension suppliers require a positive recommendation, but they all need the adviser's signature on their own paperwork (just to say advice has been given).
If you're thinking of another pension supplier, Pensionhelp may be willing to sign any pension supplier's transfer-in form after a negative recommendation, just ask at your consultation.
Good luck.

Yes, they do, although not all stakeholder providers seem to know that!Deleted_User said:
