Halifax mortgage offer - change of address

Hi all, anyone can confirm that Halifax allows people to transfer the mortgage offer onto a new property?
I have received an offer for a shared ownership flat new build mortgage, with 30% share worth £144,750 with rent and service charge £633 and £243 respectively. The new property would be 30% share worth £138,000 with rent and service charge £733 and £134 respectively.
I have phoned Halifax and they have confirmed that should I wish to transfer the offer to a new property, as long as the price is the same or lower (as it’s the case) the application will just be amended to reflect the new address, and of course a new valuation will be needed. The offer won’t go to underwriters.
Can anyone confirm the above? The reason I might change property is because the second one has an EWS1 form while the first one (the one I had the offer for) doesn’t. My offer states that an EWS1 form must be obtained before completion.
Thanks

getting a EWS1 form is nigh on impossible, there is a thread on here about this"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Well I’m in need of moving out. I had been dealing with this situation since October 2019 >.<0
