Please recommend a toilet seat?

Prefer good looks rather than cheapness, I know that I will be sitting on it, so won’t see very much of it
but it’s all about presentation. Perhaps a white one, perhaps a shiny one, and I know they probably won’t be very shinny but are the padded ones any good, do they crease and make it difficult to clean and unhygienic, and then pucture?
I quite like the look of the wooden ones, but can you keep them hygienically clean? Do they quickly become scratched or worn, and hence unhygienic?

I would concentrate more on the profile of the seat. You would hope/think that they are all the same shape.. but no... welcome to the land of walking around Dunelm with a cut-out replica of your toilet seat!....and then realising that, because Bathstore have gone into administration, there is nothing to fit your toilet!#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661

Depends what the rest of your bathroom looks like. Wooden seats always remind me of last century public toilets!0
