Hi,
my child is in a private school and we have been offered a place in another private school which is much closer to my other childs Secondary school.

We have no issue with the current school, we only want to change as we moved area and she has been late a lot due to dropping my secondary school child off first.
It’s the 11th Sept and we approached the school and explained in all honesty why we are thinking of moving schools.
They have been really off with us and quiet frankly rude!
Here is my question. They have said I’m liable for a terms fees in lieu of notice.
It’s the 11th Sept and I’ve paid this terms fees. I’m not after anything back, I’ve paid till Christmas. But they are telling me I need to pay for next term as we are already in a term!!?
That will be notice paid till Easter, is this correct????
We are thinking of starting her at the new school next week and I don’t want this term money back, I would have thought me paying till Christmas would have been enough!!??
