I've had a bill of £56.59 from the above company acting on behalf of Esure, my old car insurer. My question is basically, can I get blacklisted for not paying this? I was told my account with them was paid up then this appeared through the post. Out of principal I don't want to pay it out of principal am am happy for them to keep posting me rubbish but I just don't want a bad mark on my credit because I am about to buy a house.
Thanks

Some insurers report to some credit reference agencies. The best thing you can do is check all three.
It's not a blacklist but they may report that money is owed.
As for CARS, send them a prove-it
