The application is on the basis of 80%-20% LTV.
07/08 - DIP from Natwest
07/08 - DIP from Natwest
10/08 - Full application went in
12/08 - Valuation instructed
19/08 - Valuation completed - desktop valuation - all good.
20/08 - Spoke to Natwest live chat - said they were waiting on payslip and bonus info. (not visible on tracker)
21/08 - Broker sent the relevant information - all this information was already sent when the full application was made on 10/08.
25/08 - Spoke to Natwest live chat - said they were waiting on payslip and bonus info again. (not visible on tracker)
26/08 - Broker sent in latest Aug Payslip and Bonus details sent with letter of employer - cc'd me in the email.
29/08 - Valuation fees paid after confusion on the fee value from Natwest.
29/08 - Valuation fees paid after confusion on the fee value from Natwest.
01/09 - Spoke to Natwest live chat - said they were waiting on payslip and bonus info yet again. (not visible on tracker) An email was sent to the broker on this day.
02/09 - Broker says no such email is received. Requested me to wait a few days as the service levels show that the documents on 26/08 weren't probably reviewed.
Have held myself back from contacting live chat or calling Natwest as that seems to put me in the loop of payslip and bonus document request.
Was so happy that the valuation was done fairly quickly but now the offer part is taking forever!
Anything I can do to speed up the process? I have submitted literally every document with a strong supporting document to make sure the mortgage application is air tight.
The waiting around is so stressful!

Did you find the Cora chat helpful? I am using a MA but he is on holiday at the minute and thinking about contacting NatWest tomorrow through the app rather than calling and being on hold forever!fountainradar said:The application is on the basis of 80%-20% LTV.

Yep, Cora chat gets you to the right people but there is usually a 15-20 mins wait time. It is alright if you have no meetings planned around that time

One thing I noticed was that they don't always have up to date information. They can't go into the documents and verify what is received and what isn't. They simply pass on the notes that are on your file.0
